'Since 2019 less academically able pupils can follow a (new) pathway programme leading to alternative accreditation, with routes into further study. It is too early to judge the results of this new curriculum initiative, but inspectors noticed the positive impact on pupil's interest and motivation to succeed because of their heightened enjoyment of lessons' ISI Inspectorate, 2020
ISI Inspectorate: Initiative devised by us to improve SEND provision in a UK Private School
My son has dyslexia and was struggling to keep up with his work in school. Charlotte was caring and patient and my son really looked forward to his sessions with her. Charlotte made learning fun and interesting. Her style of teaching gave my son confidence in his own ability which is something he had been struggling with for some time. This in turn reflected in his schoolwork, which was noticed by his teachers. Together, Charlotte and my son would look at the work he had been set and she would guide him through the tasks whilst allowing him the time to develop his own learning style. I have no hesitation in recommending Charlotte. I am extremely grateful for all the support she gave my son with his learning, and he still uses strategies she taught him in his school work today.
